One of the reasons I love animated short films is because anything can happen. The landscape can be as literal or figurative as the artist wants, surreal or realistic and unshackled by the limitations of the physical universe. Here’s an amazing and inspiring little film (about 4 and a half minutes) by French animator Ghislain Avrillon about a young explorer experimenting in his floating treehouse.
