Anil Polat, the proprietor of the great travel blog FoxNomad, is on a quest to visit every country on earth, a seemingly impossible task fraught with difficulty and expense, but as the final goal is elusive, his world map gets progressively more dogeared.
Along with Anil’s itchy feet comes a camera, and over the past year he’s developed a certain aptitude for taking photos using the HDR technique. The following six images are a nice highlight of what he’s been doing. His colors are deep and you nearly fall into the images as you look at them. For his skills, he gets a shout out at 10 Times One.
If these images dazzle you the way I was dazzled, support his quest by by visiting his Smugmug gallery and picking up a print of one of these shots. They’re for sale. Navigate to his Porto, Istanbul, and Granada galleries and look for them.

that is some book store
Amazing. Is that a bookstore?
Yes, it’s the Livraria Lello bookstore, a very famous one in Porto that’s often winning prizes for most beautiful around the world. Though in the past few years it’s become famous for another reason – JK Rowling spent quite a bit of time there writing when she was coming up with some of the ideas for Harry Potter :)
